As Media Liason for All Fur Fun 2011, it’s my job to help spread the word of the comeback of Spokane’s Furry Convention, the afore-mentioned All Fur Fun. So, while thinking to myself, ‘Wouldn’t it be great if we could have some furries in and out of suit, handing out informational flyers and such a Spokane’s Pride Festival?’

And then I realized…

PRIDE IS THIS SATURDAY!

So, this is a shout out to anyone who might be willing to help us out on Saturday, June 12th! It would be really great to have a few people in suit, since suiters are the best ambassadors the fandom has. Even if you don’t suit, however, we could still use your help!
Any furs willing to make an appearance for the 12th at the Pride Festival in downtown Spokane, starting at 12 noon, please let me know either through comments, or via e-mail at fawksie_puppet@hotmail.com . Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough information in time to get a booth, or be able to march in the parade, but even just making an appearance helps!

In conjunction with this, if any furs interested in going would like to have ears or a tail in time for the event, I will be offering my time on Friday, June 11th from about 4 in the afternoon until whenever it is I decide to go to bed… Probably about midnight… To make ears and/or tails for those interested. I ask that you supply the fur and felt for the ears or tail, and the method of attachment for both. I have the foam, sewing materials, glue and elastic.

I am not asking that you pay me to make these items. However, if you have the money, please consider making a donation to All Fur Fun instead. The money goes to getting the convention back on its feet and ready for a whole new feel for the 2011 convention season.

on a side note, June 18 theres an animai con at SFCC...I dont know who to get ahold of to get a table, but theres a place to advertise.

I went with a friend, since I didn't get any response about going for AFF, and two girls without any visible ties to the fandom trying to advertise for con would have been a little odd. It was really not a good day to take around any suiters, anyway. SUPER hot, no shade, and the crowd was really starting to clear out when we got there. Oh well. Another time.

I guess looking into the con at SFCC would be a good thing, tho it's probably much too late to get anything of real merit going. But thanks for the tip~ :3
