Post HTML limits on php?
I was trying to upgrade the Rolling Event Calendar into a HTML-based calendar. I have the start of it figured out, but when I hit Preview to check it in the post, none of the HTML formats display, and some of the tag components disappear. The options list at the side indicates that HTML is on; is the formatting error just a quirk of previewing in php (which will correct on actual posting), or am I being too fancy for the forum?

PM me if you desire to view the coding I currently have; alternately, I could display it on a second post.

Basically, the problem is with PHPbb. Even though it says it will accept HTML, it almost never works. I haven't gotten a single HTML tag to work in a PHP bulletin board in over three years-- and believe me, I've tried every iteration I can think of. Your best bet is to serve the HTML on another site, then use PHP markup to link to the page. Let me know if you need to borrow some web space to put something up. Smile

That would probably work best - the calendar's basically a nested <TABLE>, so it shouldn't take too much space. As for the forum side of it, I guess I'll just do a two week highlight and make the calendar link conspicuous.

I'll PM you once I have the HTML calendar ready.

Sounds good. Smile

Hey, and speaking of HTML, has anyone heard from Gar? How go the revisions of the web site?
